Work Experience
Senior Frontend Developer
Presently employed within the Internet Banking division at ABN Amro, where I am responsible for overseeing five critical applications within the Internet Banking portfolio.
In addition, I have successfully rebuilt three applications utilizing Vue and TypeScript, enhancing their efficiency and functionality. As part of my role, I engineered an
Azure test helper tool that seamlessly integrates into the pipeline. This tool automates the execution of TestCafe's Fixture tests, updating Test Plans accordingly. In the
event of a test failure, the tool efficiently creates a new work item for prompt resolution by the user. To bolster the operational robustness of three applications, I
implemented Azure-based application insights logging, generating and processing over 500,000 records every hour. Furthermore, I have contributed significantly to internal
productivity by developing two distinct Chrome extensions, tailored for internal use. These extensions have proven instrumental in streamlining processes, resulting in a
noteworthy 3x reduction in time spent on relevant tasks.

Engineering Doctorate (EngD) - Software Technologies
Engaged in a collaborative thesis project with Philips Research in Eindhoven, the focus of my research centered on devising a comprehensive strategy
for patient monitoring outside the hospital environment, specifically in ambulatory settings. Within Philips, a groundbreaking outpatient monitoring kit
is in development, comprising a wearable device and a communication hub. As a key contributor to this initiative, my primary objective is to spearhead the
development of a web application integral to the monitoring system. This application is designed to effectively track and analyze patient data, ensuring a
seamless and reliable means of monitoring patients in non-hospital settings.

Project: Multiple CTF challenges and PROXMOX environment system
Designed and implemented a Capture The Flag (CTF) challenge involving Crypto and Linux system root access. Concurrently, I developed a user-friendly dashboard
equipped with robust administrative functionalities. This dashboard empowers administrators to efficiently manage multiple Proxmox machines, providing granular
control over each environment within every machine. This multifaceted project showcases my proficiency in cybersecurity challenges and system administration,
emphasizing a comprehensive skill set in both Crypto and Linux environments.

Thesis: Soundex Algorithm and its improvement.
Researched and implemented the Soundex phonetic algorithm, specifically tailored for indexing names based on their English pronunciation.
The primary objective of this algorithm is to encode homophones to a uniform representation, facilitating efficient matching despite minor discrepancies
in spelling. The accompanying paper delves into the methodology employed to address instances where distinct names yield the same Soundex code, providing
valuable insights into overcoming such challenges in name indexing and matching.

Thesis: Computer Graphics Aided Design Tool
Engineered an application that encompasses a comprehensive array of algorithms for rendering diverse objects on the screen. Serving as a versatile alternative
to the graphics library in the C language, this application empowers users to dynamically draw various shapes such as lines, squares, circles, ellipses, triangles,
and more. Notably, users can compare these objects in real-time, fostering a practical understanding of their graphical characteristics.
The application also boasts advanced features, including the capability to scale, translate, and rotate objects. This functionality enhances the user's ability to
manipulate and analyze the visual representation of objects, providing a robust tool for both drawing and real-time comparative analysis.
